  1. I am interested in participating in the 140th anniversary of the Scotch Colony in 2013, and would appreciate your including me on any emails about dates and events. My great grandfather John Chapman and great great grandparents Charles and Catherine Coutts Chapman were part of the original settlement aboard the Castalia, and my great grandmother Jessie McKenzie came over about 10 years later to join her older brothers William and John who also were part of the original settlement.   2. Hi Bill,
    Do you have access to a ships list for the Sidonian, arrived 5/31/1874? I cannot find this document ANYWHERE! I’ve checked a plethora of links to no avail.
    Thanks for any help you can provide.
    Also, I have a “mystery man” photo, which may be of one of the Hutcheon’s; either Alexander who arrived in 1888, or James who was on the Castalia in 1873. I can’t post in this message, but if you reply via my email, I will forward as an attachment. Perhaps someone can identify this handsome gent.
