Take a virtual tour around the Scotch Colony with the full screen version of this map on the Google Maps site or app. It’s easier to see and use than the version above. Also you can use the Google Map app on your mobile phone to navigate to a point. In the summer of 2024, we added Google Street Views alony the Colony Roads but the photos don’t always align with the actual location.
The round dots are lot numbers and names from the Scotch Colony Lot Map (Cadastral). I believe this lot map shows the original Crown Lands granted to our Scottish settlers. Here are these same lot maps overlayed on Google Maps.
Using the map legend, you can turn off layers/sets of points to reduce the clutter. (see upper left of map window)
