Tour around  Scotch Colony, New Brunswick, Canada with the full screen version of map on the Google Maps site. It’s easier to see and use.

The round dots are lot numbers and names from the Scotch Colony Lot Map (Cadastral). I believe this map shows the original Crown Land Grants to the Scottish settlers. Here are these same lot maps overlayed on Google Maps.

Using the map legend, you can turn off layers/sets of points to reduce the clutter. (see upper left of map window)

http://scotchcolony.ca/2018/08/20/crown-land-grant-reference-map-viewer/ is also a great resource for locating early colonists’ lots.

Use the Google Map app on your mobile phone to navigate to a point.
